Plasma Pen Treatment is A True Alternative to Surgery

Our Non-Surgical Fibroblasting treatment is a non-invasive treatment that uses a Plasma Generator to tighten the skin. The technology is a non-surgical alternative to a traditional face & body skin tightening that usually requires cutting into the skin. The plasma pen can be used to treat sagging upper eyelids, wrinkles underneath the eyes, face and neck contouring, fine lines and wrinkles, upper lip lifting, brow lifting, skin tightening on the body, stretch marks, nose contouring, skin smoothing, acne & acne scarring, moles and skin tags.

The Plasma Pen Treatment

Plasma fibroblast is a fairly new innovation in the aesthetic industry in Australia but has been a popular treatment in Europe for a number of years. The highly accurate hand held device utilizes the voltage in the air between its tip and the natural gasses emitted from our skin to form a plasma charge. A small plasmal arc is created and instantly shrinks the targeted skin. The tissues retract and tighten and so can be used to lift hooded eyelids, tighten baggy under-eyes, minimise wrinkles and can even be used to do a lip flip, nose refinement, tighten turkey neck and lift sagging jaw lines. There is no cutting to remove the excess skin resulting in minimal downtime – expect a minimum 3 days of swelling and 5 days of visible brown dots. This treatment is a fantastic alternative to surgery and avoiding those associated risks.

Little Downtime

Depending on the size of the PlasmaPen™ treatment area, patients can expect as little as a 4-7 days of downtime after their treatment.

The PlasmaPen™ utilizes innovative plasma technology to achieve consistent results. Plasma is formed through the ionization of atmospheric gasses, stimulating instantaneous contraction and tightening of skin fibers and collagen production during treatment. This technology does not require the use of a scalpel or laser to remove excess skin. Therefore, the PlasmaPen™ avoids the majority of risk that’s assumed when performing invasive and non-invasive cosmetic procedures.

While the PlasmaPen™ cannot completely halt the aging process, results are long lasting. New lines and wrinkles that appear on patients after an initial treatment process should only require a quick revision.

After Care

Post treatment care will include the use of our skin sensitive healing oil, keeping the area cool and dry, gentle cleansing, patting dry, no rubbing or wiping, and ceasing use of your usual home care products for 7 to 10 days until the area is fully healed. Our Omni Light Rejuvenation can also be a great additional treatment over the following weeks to help reduce swelling and speed up the healing process

  • All Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International technicians provide free and highly detailed consultations, the very best pre and post treatment products, the best treatment delivery enhancers and tools and they always provide the best patient aftercare and follow-up. All our technicians have invested heavily in purchasing a premium device and plasma treatment solution - a device that’s been proven across >60,000 treatments over the last 12 months alone. Plasma Pen categorically delivers the shortest downtimes, the fastest recovery and the best results. Technicians carry significant overhead in terms of their insurance, the cost of any/all products used (including probes and topical anaesthetic), their investment in continual professional development, their facility costs, their advertising costs and many other financial factors

  • Not all plasma is the same. If you buy cheap you will likely buy twice. You may also put yourself at significant risk. Pricing is the ultimate representation of a professional technician’s work and service offering. If it is too low it will usually say a lot about the quality of the work offered. The price ranges shown represent verified and established market rates for professional Plasma

Pen treatment using our worldwide market leading device and treatment solution. These prices represent fair value both for the safe, stunning and incredibly long lasting results we are able to deliver and for their long-term competitiveness and positive impact when compared to all other medi-aesthetic and surgical options

  • Plasma Pen is a highly technical and artistic process but it is not always an exact science. Technicians can never guarantee an exact shrinking, tightening, lifting or softening result due to individual skin elasticity, the individual healing process and a very wide range of other factors – not least your strict adherence to the aftercare regime recommended. Depending on the procedure being delivered; results immediately following a treatment session may only represent 30% to 50% of the final result. The full effect should then be assessed over the coming 12 weeks

as the extensive epidermal and dermal remodelling we stimulate kicks in - which includes the formation of a new and rejuvenated neoepidermis, neocollagenesis, neoelastogenesis and the reversal of elastotic change

  • Depending on the patient, their individual skin and many other factors then some treatments will provide instant results. Others may require more than one treatment to achieve the desired outcome. Many treatments are complimentary and thus ideal to package up together to enjoy a discounted rate. Consequently; technicians never promise that one treatment will always be enough to achieve optimum results. Some results with some patients are, by design, cumulative for the greatest effects to be achieved (if very deep lines and/or significant glycation is present for example). You may be required to return for additional treatments before your overall procedure is deemed fully complete. The payment for any additional work, if applicable, will always be agreed with you prior to your treatment

  • Treatments can be safely combined, often for a discounted rate, during the same treatment session and/or over a course of treatments or top-ups. Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International is practically the only device where it is safe to combine upper and lower eyelid procedures together during the same treatment session

Common Questions and Answers

  • 3 sessions of a vampire facial are recommended 4-6 weeks apart with the results typically lasting for several months, but maintenance treatments are often needed every 6 to 12 months to sustain the benefits.

  • The number of vampire facial treatments needed varies from person to person and depends on individual goals and skin conditions, but a series of 3 initial treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart is recommended for optimum results, followed by maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months for sustained results. The exact number should be discussed with your qualified aesthetician, who can assess your specific needs and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.

  • Since the procedure uses your own blood, the risk of an allergic reaction is minimal. Keep in mind that individual experiences may vary, and it's essential to have a thorough consultation with us to determine if the procedure is suitable for your specific skin concerns and needs.

  • The level of pain or discomfort experienced during a vampire facial, or platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment, can vary from person to person. Overall, while some people find PRP treatments to be relatively painless, others may experience mild to moderate discomfort. It's essential to communicate your pain tolerance and concerns with us, so that we can take steps to make the procedure as comfortable as possible, such as using a numbing cream or adjusting the technique.

  • Microneedling and a vampire facial (platelet-rich plasma or PRP facial) are related but distinct cosmetic procedures. While microneedling is a standalone procedure that involves creating micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen production, a vampire facial incorporates PRP therapy alongside microneedling to potentially enhance the effects.

  • A vampire facial, which combines microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, can be beneficial for certain types of acne scars. We recommend vampire facials for individuals with mild to moderate acne scarring, particularly for those with rolling or atrophic scars (scars that appear as depressions in the skin). However, their effectiveness can vary from person to person, and not all types of acne scars may respond equally well.
