Skin Concern

Fine Lines & Early Ageing

Fine lines and ageing concern

Fine lines and early ageing are the soft creases and loss of firmness that start to show as your skin’s collagen naturally slows, often first around the eyes, mouth, forehead and jawline. At our Woollahra clinic in eastern Sydney, care begins with a calm skin consultation, where we look at your skin properly and plan a considered approach, from HIFU lifting to collagen-building skin rejuvenation, matched to your skin and your goals.

What causes fine lines and early ageing

Fine lines and early ageing are a natural part of how skin changes over time, and several things influence when and where they show:

  • A gradual slowing of collagen and elastin, the fibres that keep skin firm and springy
  • Years of sun exposure and UV, one of the biggest drivers of early lines
  • Repeated expression around the eyes, forehead and mouth
  • Dryness and dehydration, which make fine lines look more pronounced
  • Lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress, smoking and diet

Because these changes build slowly, a considered plan that supports firmness and skin quality tends to work better than chasing any single quick fix.

How we approach it at Skin Body Health

We are a consultation-led clinic, so we won’t assume the right treatment before seeing your skin in person. Your first step is a calm skin consultation in our rooms in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, where Jade and our team take the time to understand your skin and what you would like to soften or firm. Together we will:

  • Assess your skin, your concerns and the areas that bother you most
  • Talk through your history, your routine and what has and hasn’t worked before
  • Set honest, realistic expectations about what each option can and cannot do
  • Map out a considered plan, often pairing HIFU lifting with PRP or collagen-building skin rejuvenation

We share clear, accurate information, so you always understand your options before you decide.
