Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening
Our Non-Surgical Fibroblasting treatment is a non-invasive treatment that uses a Plasma Generator to tighten the skin. The technology is a non-surgical alternative to a traditional face & body skin tightening that usually requires cutting into the skin. The plasma pen can be used to treat sagging upper eyelids, wrinkles underneath the eyes, face and neck contouring, fine lines and wrinkles, upper lip lifting, brow lifting, skin tightening on the body, stretch marks, nose contouring, skin smoothing, the appearance of blemishes & acne scarring, moles and skin tags.
The Plasma Pen Treatment
Plasma fibroblast is a fairly new innovation in the aesthetic industry in Australia but has been a popular treatment in Europe for a number of years. The highly accurate hand held device utilizes the voltage in the air between its tip and the natural gasses emitted from our skin to form a plasma charge. A small plasmal arc is created and instantly shrinks the targeted skin. The tissues retract and tighten and so can be used to lift hooded eyelids, tighten baggy under-eyes, minimise wrinkles and can even be used to do a lip flip, nose refinement, tighten turkey neck and lift sagging jaw lines. There is no cutting to remove the excess skin resulting in minimal downtime – expect a minimum 3 days of swelling and 5 days of visible brown dots. This treatment is a fantastic alternative to surgery and avoiding those associated risks.
Little Downtime
Depending on the size of the PlasmaPen™ treatment area, patients can expect as little as a 4-7 days of downtime after their treatment.
The PlasmaPen™ utilizes innovative plasma technology to achieve consistent results. Plasma is formed through the ionization of atmospheric gasses, stimulating instantaneous contraction and tightening of skin fibers and collagen production during treatment. This technology does not require the use of a scalpel or laser to remove excess skin. Therefore, the PlasmaPen™ avoids the majority of risk that’s assumed when performing invasive and non-invasive cosmetic procedures.
While the PlasmaPen™ cannot completely halt the aging process, results are long lasting. New lines and wrinkles that appear on patients after an initial treatment process should only require a quick revision.
After Care
Post treatment care will include the use of our skin sensitive healing oil, keeping the area cool and dry, gentle cleansing, patting dry, no rubbing or wiping, and ceasing use of your usual home care products for 7 to 10 days until the area is fully healed. Our Omni Light Rejuvenation can also be a great additional treatment over the following weeks to help reduce swelling and speed up the healing process
