What is Fat Cavitation?
Ultrasound Liposuction (ultrasonic cavitation) is a new, revolutionary European fat removal technique that does NOT involve surgery – there is no need for anaesthetic, a hospital stay or time off work.
The treatment has immediate results and delivers further additional fat reduction within the week following the procedure.
Skin Body Health utilises a unique cavitation technology new to Australia that allows for non-invasive removal of stubborn fat deposits that never seem to disappear regardless of your diet or how hard you work out.
The most problematic body areas are: abdomen, Hips, thighs, buttocks, inner knees, upper arms and male breasts.
The Ultrasonic treatment safely and effectively targets localised fat deposits and reduces body circumference for successful body contouring. This procedure is done per area on specific parts of the body, such as the buttocks, stomach, love handles, arms, and inner thighs. Used more gently, fat cavitation can also help contour the face, softening fullness around the cheeks, jawline and under the chin.
A hand piece device uses ultrasonic waves that penetrates through the epidermis and dermis to the subcutaneous fat. Emulsified fat is carried to the liver through normal metabolic processes.
Our Ultrasonic process is designed to remove fat cells through the process of cavitation. It also Improves skin texture and tightness and enhances body tone and shape.
Why choose Skin Body Health?
It is important to ensure your cavitation treatments are carried out using the correct frequency of ultrasonic waves. At Skin Body Health we use the correct cavitation frequency between 30kHz and 40kHz, which targets the adipose (fatty) layer under the skin. This is the only frequency that will give you a successful treatment. Please be aware that there are other cavitation machines using only 10 or 20kHz, and these treatments will not give you your desired results.
Before & After Care
It is important to follow our before and after care instructions in order to get the best possible results from your treatment.
Before the treatment
Please shower and if possible exfoliate your skin the morning of your treatment. Do not eat for 2 hours prior to your session to ensure your body is in the optimal fat burning mode.
After the treatment
Do at least 10 to 20minutes of cardio to burn extra fat before eating immediately after your session. Drink plenty of water for the few days following your treatment to aid the flushing of fat and toxins from your body. Minimise saturated fat, sugar and processed foods from your diet to ensure long lasting results. Eat regular smaller meals throughout the day rather than three large meals to keep your metabolism stimulated and burning fat.
Is Ultrasound Fat Cavitation suitable for you?
People with certain medical conditions may not suitable for the treatment, you should seek further advice if you have or have had any of the following: kidney failure, liver failure, if you carry a pacemaker or other electronic devices, if you are pregnant or lactating, or suffer from hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia.

Frequently asked
Does fat cavitation tighten the skin?
Fat cavitation primarily targets and breaks down fat cells in the treated area, making it an effective method for reducing localised fat deposits. While the primary goal of fat cavitation is fat reduction, it can have some secondary benefits for skin tightening. For those specifically seeking significant skin tightening, other non-invasive treatments such as high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) and radiofrequency (RF) skin tightening can be more suitable. Book a free consultation with us to help determine the most appropriate treatment plan based on your individual goals and concerns.
Does fat cavitation work on cellulite?
Fat cavitation can be effective at reducing the appearance of cellulite, especially when it is used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. Cellulite is a common concern characterised by dimpled or lumpy skin, often found on the thighs, buttocks and abdomen. It is caused by the protrusion of fat cells into the skin's connective tissue, leading to an uneven surface texture. While fat cavitation can provide noticeable improvements in the appearance of cellulite, individual results may vary. Multiple sessions are often required, and the outcome can depend on factors such as the severity of cellulite and the individual's skin type.
How long does fat cavitation take to work?
The time it takes to see noticeable results from fat cavitation can vary from person to person and depends on several factors, including the specific treatment area, the individual's body composition and their overall lifestyle. It is important to have realistic expectations and understand that fat cavitation is not a quick-fix solution for weight loss. It is most effective for reducing localised fat deposits and improving body contouring. Following the recommended treatment plan and maintaining a healthy lifestyle helps optimise the outcomes of fat cavitation.
How many fat cavitation treatments are needed?
The number of fat cavitation treatments needed can vary widely from person to person and depends on various factors, including the specific treatment area, the amount of excess fat, individual body composition and the desired results. Typically, a series of sessions is recommended for the best outcome. It is essential to book a consultation with us to discuss your specific concerns, goals and treatment plan, so we can assess your individual needs and recommend the appropriate number of sessions.
Can fat cavitation cause diarrhoea?
Fat cavitation is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses ultrasound technology to target and break down fat cells in certain areas of the body. It is not typically associated with causing diarrhoea. If you have any concerns about how you might respond to treatment, we are happy to talk them through at your consultation.
