Micro-Current Meso Therapy

Micro-Current Meso Therapy at Skin Body Health

Micro-current Meso-therapy is a revolution in cosmetic facial beauty and body treatments and is one of the most talked about skin treatments available. It harnesses the body's powerful mechanisms for self repair, restoring skin health, and enabling the tissue and muscles to strengthen and reshape itself.

This treatment is a very safe circuitry flow of positive and negative ions that actively pushes "just applied" water soluble skin treatments deeply into the epidermis and upper dermis. It is suitable for any skin type and accelerates product infusion into the skin. The micro-current activates facial nerves and muscle structure to gently lift and tone the face, whilst a galvanic current additionally opens pores for deep cleansing then reduces their size, balances the skin's PH, removes all grease and oil from the surface of the skin, stimulates exhausted skin and softens, moistens and tightens skin tissue.

Your skin will look and feel invigorated and radiant.

  • Infuses products into cells
  • Rejuvenates
  • Stimulates circulation

How it works

A very low-frequency electrical impulse is passed into the body. The client simply lays back on a couch and the Micro-Current Therapy System takes care of the rest, a face lift without surgery.

Micro current energy has been documented and studied for over a century, and galvanic treatments use very low-frequency impulses so there is no risk of burning or electric shock. The electricity triggers cellular turnover so that any damaged tissues can repair and heal quickly, and even though the procedure does not injure the tissues, it 'tricks' the cells so that they begin to undergo the healing process. Galvanic facial treatments have a proven track record in Europe, and have been used for decades as an anti-aging solution.

Skin is cleansed and a conductive gel is applied. A therapist moves an applicator that conducts the galvanic current in the direction of lymphatic drainage and blood circulation. The galvanic hand piece is used to direct a galvanic current of ions directly into the skin. These positive and negative ions act like a magnet on top of the skin's surface, and will slowly push the product lying on the skin's surface down into the deeper layers. The skin can then absorb the treatment within seconds as the electric energy also stimulates the deeper muscle and nerve tissue to firm up, tone and tighten the skin during the session. Most sessions last for just 10-20 minutes.

Sensation

You may feel your facial muscles move as they are stimulated like a facial workout! You may also experience a slight metal taste in your mouth during your first session and a slight prickling or tingling sensation is felt under the finger tips sometimes.

How many treatments are necessary

This treatment can be a stand-alone one course treatment or added onto any facial. For optimal results a course of 6-12 treatments, once or twice a week is recommended. A top up treatment is advised once every 1-3 months.

Micro-Current facial treatments also offer a solution for making topical skincare products work; the machine promotes the absorption of products used on the skin, driving them deeper into the pores so that they can work. It also helps to tighten up the skin, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Amazing Eye Solution

With many of today's revolutionary skin treatments such as laser and radio frequency being too strong for the delicate eye area galvanic therapy is the perfect solution!

By stimulating blood flow in the skin around the eyes it will improve the look of dark circles caused by poor circulation. It will also improve drainage of fluid reducing puffiness, tighten loose skin and plump lines and wrinkles.

The treatment may also be used just around the mouth for lines and wrinkles or on the whole face for a fresher, younger, lifted complexion!
