  • Microcurrent meso-therapy, from $110, to tone, firm and refresh the look of the skin

Facials and light therapy

Our facials are calm, relaxing and results-focused, and they can be booked directly without a consultation.

  • Omni LED light therapy supports skin rejuvenation, clarity, tone and congestion, with little to no downtime.
  • Microcurrent meso-therapy helps tone and refresh the appearance of the skin.
  • The Radiance Revival package and our Light Therapy Facial combine light and considered skincare for a restorative session.
  • A bespoke facial is tailored on the day to what your skin needs, from hydration to congestion.

Most people find these treatments comfortable and easy to fit around their day. How your skin responds will vary from person to person.

Skin needling, Meso-Pen and PRP

Skin needling work a little more actively on texture and renewal, so we start these with a private skin assessment.

  • Collagen induction, or skin needling, uses fine channels to encourage the skin’s own renewal over a planned course.
  • The Meso-Pen glow-boost is a refined needling treatment focused on radiance and skin quality.
  • , sometimes called a vampire facial, uses a small sample of your own blood, prepared and reapplied to the skin.

Because these treatments suit some people better than others, Jade assesses your skin first and explains what to expect, including any short-lived redness afterwards. Results vary from person to person, and we share realistic, honest information before you begin.

We also offer Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) - sometimes called the vampire facial - from $279. A small sample of your own blood is processed to concentrate the platelets, and the plasma is reintroduced to the skin to support its natural renewal. PRP is suitability is assessed in person, and results vary from person to person.

The medical-grade technology behind our rejuvenation treatments

Skin Body Health is a technology-led clinic, and our rejuvenation and facial treatments are built around medical-grade devices chosen for what they can genuinely do for the skin. Rather than a single, one-size-fits-all machine, we match the right technology to your skin and your goals.

  • Meso Pen Pro skin needling - a precision collagen-induction device that creates thousands of fine, controlled micro-channels in the skin. As it works, it delivers targeted mesotherapy, infusing the skin with hyaluronic acid, peptides, antioxidants and growth factors so active ingredients can reach beyond the surface layer.
  • OxyGeneo (Geneo) three-step facial - a patented, award-winning technology (a Cosmopolitan Beauty Award winner) that combines three actions in one session: exfoliation, natural skin oxygenation and the infusion of active nutrients, supported by TriPollar radiofrequency and ultrasound infusion.
  • Renova radiofrequency resurfacing, by Biotec Italia - a hydro-resurfacing treatment that pairs radiofrequency energy with fine micro-channel needling and LED in a single session, to help encourage firmer, smoother-looking skin.
  • Omni LED light therapy - clinical-grade light used to support skin rejuvenation, clarity, tone and congestion, with little to no downtime.
  • Microcurrent meso-therapy - a low-level current used to tone, firm and refresh the appearance of the skin.

Every plan is matched to your skin at your assessment, and individual results vary from person to person.

The science: how skin renewal actually works

Our rejuvenation treatments are designed to work with your skin's own renewal processes, rather than force a quick, surface-level result. Understanding the mechanism helps set realistic expectations.

  • Collagen induction - the fine micro-channels created during skin needling prompt the skin's natural repair response, encouraging fresh collagen and elastin to form over the weeks that follow. Because this is a gradual, biological process, results tend to build over a planned course rather than overnight.
  • Targeted mesotherapy - by delivering hyaluronic acid, peptides, antioxidants and growth factors through those micro-channels, the treatment helps active ingredients reach where they can do more, supporting hydration and overall skin quality.
  • The Bohr Effect (OxyGeneo) - the OxyGeneo facial generates an abundance of CO2 bubbles at the skin's surface, which triggers a well-documented physiological response known as the Bohr Effect. In response, the body sends oxygen-rich blood toward the area, supporting improved skin oxygenation and increased cellular activity, all without needles.

This information is general in nature, and how your skin responds will vary from person to person.

The evidence behind radiofrequency skin renewal

Radiofrequency has been studied as a non-invasive way to firm and tighten the skin, and the findings help explain why we include it in our resurfacing treatments.

  • In a clinical study of radiofrequency skin tightening led by Alex Levenberg, MD (Plastic Surgery Department, Doctor's House, Tel Aviv), researchers reported measurable skin firming and contour improvement, with results continuing to improve in the months after the final session as collagen remodelled.
  • This mirrors what we see in the clinic: radiofrequency and collagen-induction treatments tend to show their best results gradually, which is why we plan them as a considered course rather than a one-off fix.

Published results reflect the participants in that study, and your own outcome is individual. We share honest, realistic information, and we talk through what to expect before you begin.

Frequently asked

Should I choose a facial or skin needling?

It depends on your skin and your goals. A facial, LED session or microcurrent treatment is a gentle way to refresh and maintain your skin, and you can book these directly. Skin needling, the Meso-Pen glow-boost work more actively on texture and renewal, so we plan these after a skin assessment. If you are unsure, start with a consultation and we will guide you.

Should I book a consultation and patch test before skin needling?

Yes. Skin needling, the Meso-Pen glow-boost begin with a private skin assessment so Jade can check that the treatment suits you and talk you through what to expect. Facials and Omni LED light therapy can be booked directly without a consultation.

Is there any downtime after these treatments?

Facials and LED light therapy usually have little to no downtime, and most people return to their day straight away. Skin needling can leave the skin looking flushed or slightly pink for a short while afterwards. We talk through simple aftercare with you, and how the skin responds varies from person to person.

How do I book skin rejuvenation or a facial at Skin Body Health?

You can book a facial, Omni LED or microcurrent session directly, online or by calling us on 0410 783 125. For skin needling, Meso-Pen or we start with a skin assessment, which you can also book online or by phone, or email info@skinbodyhealthclinic.com. Our clinic is at Level 1, 128 Queen Street, Woollahra.

Does skin needling or collagen induction hurt?

Most clients find skin needling and collagen induction comfortable. A numbing option is available where needed, and Jade works methodically across the area, checking in with you throughout. You may notice some warmth or a light flush during and just after the session. Comfort, and how the skin responds, varies from person to person, which we talk through at your assessment.

How long does a skin needling session or facial take?

Most of our rejuvenation treatments take somewhere between fifteen minutes and about an hour, depending on the treatment and the area. A relaxing facial or LED session sits at the shorter, gentler end, while a full skin needling or OxyGeneo session takes a little longer. We confirm the timing when you book.

Can I wear makeup after skin needling?

We generally recommend leaving makeup off for around twenty-four to forty-eight hours after skin needling, to let the skin settle and recover. LED and most facials have little to no downtime, so you can usually return to your day straight away. We give you simple, clear aftercare for whichever treatment you have.

Can I have skin needling while pregnant?

We do not recommend skin needling or collagen induction during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please let us know at your assessment and we will guide you toward gentler options, such as a relaxing facial or LED, where they are suitable for you.

What is the OxyGeneo (Geneo) facial and how does it work?

OxyGeneo, also known as Geneo, is a patented three-step facial that exfoliates, oxygenates and infuses the skin in one session. It works by generating gentle CO2 bubbles at the skin's surface, which triggers a natural response, the Bohr Effect, that draws oxygen-rich blood toward the skin. It is a calm, needle-free treatment with little to no downtime, and results vary from person to person.
